Sighting Details:
2:55 PST in Los Angeles County, 03/30/2015. A clear night in my town 30 miles east of Los Angeles. I was out smoking when I observed two faint stars adjacent to one much brighter star. The two were moving relative the brighter; their direction was South to North. They stayed equidistant to one another in a continuous direction until I lost sight of the trailing light first, and then eventually the other went below the level of the San Gabriel Mountains. Their altitude exceeded the capability of man's inventions. I will estimate an altitude exceeding 100,000 feet MSL. Not half as fast as a meteor, but much faster than commercial and military flight operations. 26 year Airline Transport Pilot. We see these curious anomalies out over the deserts fairly regularly. But not in pairs like this event. Thank you
